Professional Success Through Determination
Dr. Diaz achieved his success through determination and a passion for illuminating the natural beauty of the human form. After completing his undergraduate studies, financed through the success of his own business, he was accepted into the competitive medical program at The Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Diaz went on to his post-doctoral training in general surgery at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital.
During Dr. Diaz's fellowship, he spent an additional year studying microsurgical reconstructive surgery. He was then accepted into the plastic surgery training program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As Chief Resident, Dr. Diaz gained experience alongside some of New York City's top plastic surgeons at Lennox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, New York. After completing his plastic surgery fellowship, Dr. Diaz returned to his hometown of Miami where he founded a thriving surgical practice specializing in cosmetic surgery of the breasts , body, and face. In 2008, Dr. Diaz relocated his practice to Melbourne, Florida, in pursuit of a more tranquil life. Dr. Diaz continues to see many of his former patients from Miami, Vero Beach, the Caribbean, and Orlando.

Commitment to Continuing Education
Through ongoing education, Dr. Diaz refines his surgical techniques and remains informed about the latest advances in cosmetic surgery. He regularly attends professional conferences in the U.S. and internationally. To contribute to the education of promising medical students, Dr. Diaz volunteers as a faculty member at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Medical students as well nursing and physician assistant students often rotate through his practice for real-world experience and patient interaction. Dr. Diaz is often asked to lecture about the latest advances in cosmetic surgery of the breasts, body, and face.
Dedication to Community
Dr. Diaz believes in giving back to others by volunteering his time, surgical skill, and medical supplies to the local community and abroad. As part of the National Youth Leadership Foundation, he mentored high school seniors interested in a career in medicine. He has volunteered at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital's C.H.A.N.G.E., a program that travels yearly to Ecuador to perform charitable surgeries for the underprivileged. He also led Project Peru, a plastic and reconstructive surgery team and support staff of 15 that performed charity surgery in Cusco, Peru. Dr. Diaz's team was the most ambitious in the number of surgical cases performed in the clinic's history. In addition, he volunteers his surgery services pro bono to the Brevard Health Alliance. He provides financial support to Promise in Brevard, Serene Harbor, and Candlelighters of Brevard, among other charities. In 2012 Dr. Diaz competed in Dancing With Brevard in order to support KLD Kids. He is a 2013 graduate of LEAD Brevard.
