Professional Success through Determination
Dr. Diaz achieved his success through determination and a passion for illuminating the natural beauty of the human form. After completing his undergraduate studies, financed through the success of his own business, he was accepted into the competitive medical program at The Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Diaz went on to his post-doctoral training in general surgery at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital.
During Dr. Diaz's fellowship, he spent an additional year studying hand, upper extremity, and microsurgical reconstructive surgery. He was then accepted into the plastic surgery training program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As Chief Resident, Dr. Diaz gained experience alongside some of New York City's top plastic surgeons at Lennox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, New York. After completing his plastic surgery fellowship, Dr. Diaz returned to his hometown of Miami along with his wife where he began his solo practice specializing in aesthetic procedures of the breasts and body. In spite of a very successful practice in South Florida that attracted patients from across the nation and around the world, in 2008 Dr. Diaz and his wife relocated to Melbourne, Florida in search of a more peaceful, higher quality of life experience.

He regularly attends professional conferences in the US and internationally. To contribute to the education of promising medical students, Dr. Diaz volunteers as a faculty member at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Florida International University College of Medicine. He encourages these medical students to rotate through his practice for real world experience and patient interaction.
Dedication to Community
Dr. Diaz believes in giving back to others by volunteering his time, surgical skill, and medical supplies to the local community and abroad. As part of the National Youth Leadership Foundation, he mentored high school seniors interested in a career in medicine. He is associated with the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital's C.H.A.N.G.E., a program that travels yearly to Ecuador to perform charitable surgeries for the underprivileged. He also led Project Peru, a plastic and reconstructive surgery team and support staff of 15 that performed charity surgery in Cusco, Peru. Dr. Diaz's team was the most ambitious in the number of surgical cases performed in the clinic's history. In addition, he has volunteered his surgery services pro bono to Brevard Health Alliance in support of his local community.
